De bekende reisgids Lonely Planet heeft zijn top10 Europese bestemmingen van 2017 gepubliceerd. Galici\u00eb is volgens de reisgids \u00e9\u00e9n van de aanraders dit jaar. Het staat op de derde plek, na de stad Zagreb in Kroati\u00eb\u00a0en het eiland Gotland in Zweden.<\/p>\n

Lonely Planet over Galici\u00eb<\/h2>\n

Duizenden mensen lopen jaarlijks door haar landschap op de beroemde Camino de\u00a0Santiago, maar slechts weinigen zijn zich bewust dat deze streek nog zoveel meer te bieden heeft, zo begint Lonely Planet haar aanbeveling.<\/p>\n

De reisgids roemt de unieke ‘scenisch-gastronomisch-culturele cocktail’ van Galici\u00eb en schrijft verder dat Galici\u00eb bijna een land op zich is, met haar eigen taal en geschiedenis. Lonely Planet noemt\u00a0als voorbeelden de typische Galisische muziek van de geita als voorbeeld, de prachtige eeuwenoude erfgoederen en de heerlijk gastvrije mensen.<\/p>\n

Galici\u00eb haalde de top10 ook vanwege haar meer dan 1000km lange kustlijn vol met inhammen, kliffen, authentieke vissersdorpen en honderden stranden. Natuurlijk worden de heerlijke zeevruchten benoemd en de karakteristieke Galisische wijnen die de zeevruchten zo goed gezelschap houden. Bovendien, zo schrijft Lonely Planet, is 2017 een speciaal jaar voor Galici\u00eb, omdat Cambados<\/a> benoemd is tot Europese wijnstad van het jaar.<\/p>\n
