Om een wel heel bijzondere reden: het stadion zou niet vol genoeg zitten!<\/p>\n<p>Het stadion van Celta de Vigo, Estadio Beladios, biedt plaats aan 29.000 mensen, maar tijdens de eerste twee competitierondes van 2017-2018 zaten er maar zo&#8217;n 17.000. Een flink aantal mensen, maar blijkbaar niet voldoende, want de Spaanse voetbalbond heeft in haar reglementen staan dat er een minimale bezettingsgraad van 70% dient te zijn. Met name de tribunes die prominent op tv verschijnen wil men gevuld hebben. Deze regel geldt alleen voor het hoogste niveau, de Primera Division.<\/p>\n<p>Om het stadion voller te krijgen heeft Celta de Vigo de entreeprijzen flink verlaagd. Samen met Deportivo a Coruna is het de grootste club van Galici\u00eb. Santiago de Compostela heeft sinds het faillisement van haar club SD Compostela in 2004 geen profclub meer.<\/p>\n<p>Nog niet zo lang geleden, in 2016, speelde Celta de Vigo nog Europees en trof daar Ajax in de poulefase van de Europa league.
